Ted’s deals emails

If you sign up for Ted’s deals, we collect your email address so we can send you a monthly email with offers, tips and news from Ted. We only send it if you ask for it by ticking the box and confirming by email, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.

Our emails are sent using MailerLite, which stores your email address on our behalf. MailerLite also records whether emails are delivered, opened and clicked, which helps us see what’s useful. We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Ted’s emails include affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Using the website

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to the site. It doesn’t use cookies or track you across other websites. Your shortlist and pet choices are saved in your own browser and aren’t sent to us.

When you click a link to another company, such as a cottage, insurance or pet care provider, their own privacy policy applies. Some links are affiliate links, which tell the company you came from our site.

The pet care search looks up the town or postcode you type using postcodes.io, a free UK postcode service, to find results near you. We don’t store what you search for.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@petsarethebest.co.uk and we’ll reply within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
